Hi, since I was as young as ten I have had a painful bony lump under my knee cap. I was told it was most likely os good schlatter, and that it would take a year to go. I m now 26 and still live with these symptoms, I tend to get by as I don t always notice the pain unless I do an excessive amount of running or if I twist the knee walking (it tends to happen often as I struggle when walking down steep steps or climbing), but the pain can also get worse from sitting for long periods of time, I now also have a similar painful lump on my hip bone for the past 4 years which also cause pain for sitting for too long ( not the left side same as the knee). When I went to the Doctor I had a MRI and they said it was just tissue.. I was referred to physio which ended up treating tight ham strings instead, and I had not be referred due to the lump. I m now in a lot of pain in both my hip and knee, and hoped someone may have a suggestion, as I would like a doctor to give me more information on what and how I can treat this
