Hello! I'm a 23 year old male, and about a week ago I felt a very sharp and stinging sensation that lasted 3-5 seconds under my left rib cage (right where my bicep lies when standing straight). The same sting continues to happen throughout the day when I'm engaging my body in some physical activity, but it sometimes happens when I'm stretching. I've been able to "recreate the issue," and I do that by jumping up and down. After about 2-3 hops, the stinging comes on again and as always only lasts 3-5 seconds, before I'm completely fine and feel no pain. It does not limit my movement in any way, but my concern is with exercising and lifting weights. It really is quite sharp so if I were to lift anything, I'm afraid I would just drop the weight instantly. I have tried over and over to feel any abnormalities around that area, and continue to find 0. At the time of me first noticing it, I was not doing any sort of physical activity, in fact, I was only reaching for a doorknob. I'd really like to continue to lift weights and exercise, but I'm afraid this will limit me. Is there anything I can do to eliminate these random sharp pains?
