Hello, I am a 42 year old female. I am 5 8 and weigh about 150. I work out 3 times a week. Mostly yoga. I am on 88mcg levothyroxine. In November I started noticing that I can hear my pulse thumping in my ears. It woke me up during the middle of the night. Ever since then it became more frequent. My sleep became poor, I always wake up around 3pm. Sometimes paniced and sweating. The ENT said it was a benign venous hum and told me to come back in June for and MRI to exclude more serious issues. I feel that it is now becoming more frequent. The pitch has changed and I hera iy more often even sitting up. I do not believe that it is a venous hum as I mainly hear it when I am in the supine position, NOT when I am sitting. I do not where to turn to and what step to take next. I am desperate, stressed, hopeless.
