What Causes Twitching In Eye After A Cataract Surgery?

Hello Doctor,
About one month ago, I had cataract surgery on my left eye (I also had RK surgery done on both eyes -- mono-vision, in the early '90s plus a laser enhancement approximately 7-8 years thereafter). The day after my cataract surgery on the left eye, I began experiencing a strobe light affect/shaky feeling in the outer corner which is still persisting. I saw my surgeon for my 4-week post-op & he says this may go away any time or I may have to have the lens replaced. In your opinion, how long might this last and, if not, is replacement of the original lens a good option?
Thank you!
