Hi, I rcvd a cortisone inj today in my shoulder, not the first time, but this time, I feel horrible afterwards and am having what I can equate to horrible vertigo when I move my eyes or head. My throat hurts, also a few mins ago, the vertigo or something was so severe, my head was literally thrown back against the back of the recliner, as if I was near fainting. I am having twinges throughout my body that do not feel too good, like twinges of dizziness or something. I am nauseous, have a headache, no appetite, again..nauseous. No vomiting yet. I do have an extensive medical hx. Chiari I, Hydro, VP Shunt, CSF Malabsorption, CSF flow issues, Hypothyroidism, now possible Hashi, just haven t had time to be tested yet..also CTD, they figure Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Lupus or another Autoimmune Disease is thought to exist. I have had 4 brain surgeries in the past couple years, including having my brain decompressed, laminectomy, Duraplasty, then complications such as a Pseudomeningocele, communicating csf leak, etc. I ve just never had this kind of reaction to an inj for my shoulder, that is thought to be withdrawing/drying up, having RCT and other issues. I am 34, 5.2 and 234 lb
