My mom (60 yrs old) was diagnosed with Mono 6 months ago. They tested her blood and said she doesn t have it anymore yet her fatigue is overwhelming to her still. Additionally, she stated that today her feet, mouth, hands and tongue went completely numb, she was shaking uncontrollably this weekend, she has lost close to 20 pounds and was not overweight to begin with (she looks like she is withering away), her neck and shoulders ache badly, she has no appetite and is nauseous daily. I ve told her to go into the ER to see if she has an underlying health conditions that made her susceptible to mono, she hasn t been herself in 6 months. Do these symptoms together cause alarm and reason for her to go seek medical care immediately?
