What Does Abnormality Of Clavicle In X Ray Report Mean?

What does it mean or could mean when you have a chest x-ray and your Rheumatologist tells you to call her office asap. When you do the office person tells you they the radiologist saw an abnormality of the clavicle and they want to x-ray again in 6 months. I have high cancer risks from both sides of my family and frankly, I am scared because no one seems to take things serious in this small town.

Radiologist 's  Response
Hi
thanks for calling HCM
about your chest X-ray you didn't tell your complain and why you had this X RAY, also what bout past history of any trauma to your shoulder.
but according to your radiologist request means that he just suspecting something abnormal in you clavicle may be increased density or something like that but this findings couldn't fulfill the cancer criteria completely but because you have risks of family history so he asked for follow up of this x ray after 6 months to be sure that it is nothing to wary about, so would you please give me full idea about your symptoms and history about your shoulder, to give you more precise advice, but if you still worried about it and you can't wait for 6 months you can have CT scan for your shoulder and bone scanning to give you the final answer about the nature of the clavicle findings
