What Does Pain And Spotting Instead Of Periods Indicate?

I came on my period, or so I thought, last Tuesday. I bled for 2 and a half days, not a heavy bleed, pretty much no pain other than the odd twinge or ache here and there but what I am most concerned about is it was all old blood, dark brown and I did not bleed any fresh blood. What I am worried about now is that after peeing and I wipe I am seeing faint pink on the toilet paper. There is no odour or any other discharge it is just when I wipe. It is not a huge amount on the tissue either. Not just that but I am feeling really tired and I keep getting almost a pinching feeling like someone is pinching something right up inside (pelvic area - lower abdomen bellow belly button) then it will go back to a dull ache, it is more uncomfortable than it is painful but it is not normal for me at all. Could I have an infection of some kind? I am in a long term relationship we are not using contraception but I have done a pregnancy test, which came back negative. So I would like to know what it could be or if it is worth doing another test or do I need to seek medical help?
