66 yrs old active male, on SSI, 5' 9", 175 lb, diagnosed with HCV-1B, 15yrs ago. Haven't smoked for 25 yrs, no alcohol last 15 years. Feel need to urinate 2-3X/nite (prostate?). Just received annual abdominal ultrasound exam results from VA healthcare system, 12/12/15. New effective HCV treatments still too expensive for VA to offer me. Please interpret results, & advise if concerning.Maybe suggest treatments, any recomendations.Exam Impression:1. Mild hepatomegaly and mild spleenomegaly. No hepatocellular carcinoma. Patent hepatic vessels.2. The common bile duct is mildly dilated, measuring up to 8 mm, slightly increased from last year 12/02/13. There is no evidence of obstructing stone of mass in the visualized common bile duct. No evidence of intrahepatic bilary dilatation.3. Mild left pelviectasis, stable from prior study 12/02/13.
