Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When working in B&W my blood pressure went up in about 2004 and gave me two pills that made memory loss ... was told by AARP in 2009 about pills that made memory loss. In 2009 found that I had a tumor in my stomach and another doctor removed it and my blood pressure went back down and I stopped one pill and kept using 1/2 of the other pill and stopped taking the pill in December 2014 because I got more memory loss. My memory loss is this ... I can read books but it is hard to understand it and it is hard to read a lot. I go to Church and it is hard to understand what the preacher is saying most of the time. I went to a Memory Doctor and he gave me about 10 Towns in Florida for me to say them to him again and could not ... only did 2 or 3 towns. It is hard for me to remember words. I've lost a lot of words ... forgot names for a lot of friends in the past and lost a lot of names that people worked with me. I used to be real smart and not real smart now. I purchased two Prevagen pills that improves memory loss and I'm still having memory loss. They said another pill was stronger and could not find it. Found a few years ago that I have a tiny benign tumor in my head and have MRI every year and another doctor wants me to have MRI every 6 months. He told me that the tumor would not make memory loss.
