When You Have Congenital Hypothyroidism (no Thyroid Present), Why Would

When you have Congenital Hypothyroidism (no thyroid present), why would it matter what your TSH number is since your pituitary can't stimulate your thyroid anyhow? In terms of having a suppressed TSH number, but T3, T4 and Reverse T3 are all where they are supposed to be while the patient is feeling good. (while taking NDT-which gives you: T4,T3, T2, T1, and calcitonin).
