Wild Yan Root, I Have Or Use To Have Hep-C,

Wild Yan Root, I have or use to have Hep-C, Cirrhosis of the Liver, Portal Hypertension and Ascites. I am on a 24 week regiment of Harvoni, at 4 weeks the virus was undetectable. I starting my 9th week of the medication. My gastroenterologist/hepatologist has had me on the Harvoni, a couple of diuretics and lactulose. The first few weeks took its toll and now I want to regain strength and endurance.

I have been checking several steroid supplements and have questions regarding liver toxicity. The first one that appears there might be a problem is Wild Yan Root, the research states that "The herb should be used with CAUTION by those with liver disease", should I be concerned the daily dosage is 500mg. There are so many other good things that this promotes, is it worth the risk? The daily monthly dosage is 500mg and should be discontinued after two months. Is the worth the risk, or should I completely avoid this extract?
