Am A Male And Was Snowmobiling In 1972, Age 19

am a male and was snowmobiling in 1972, age 19 and ended up slamming my right shoulder into a picnic table, fractured my shoulder blade and cut the nerve, three inches down from the shoulder joint. Fast forward to now at age 65 yrs, the pain is 6 to a 7 (on a scale of 1-10) pain travels down the arm some times to the elbow, it wakes me up at night, nothing helps to take away the pain, aspirin, cold packs, or a heating pad. Only by raising should above normal dose the pain ease. The PA at my primary doctor thinks its arthritis and to just take an anti-inflammatory. Would like a second opinion. Thank you
