Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
at least 1 1/2 years ago I had a lump on the left side of my neck. Sometimes it would get large enough for ppl to see it from across the room. mostly it's just barely visible, but i can definitely feel it. this has been constant for 1 1/2 years. At least a year ago, i asked my dr. about it and he said it was a swollen lymph node. It doesn't (and has never) hurt, but I have been having dizzy spells (usually less than 10-15 seconds)a few times a week for at least a year. I'm not sure if the two things are related or not. I am currently taking amlodipine 5 mg for blood pressure, and recently started taking hydrochlorot 12.5 mg for water retention. I was diagnosed with crohn's disease in July of 2013 but haven't taken anything for it since nov 2017 and am doing pretty good in that aspect. that's about all the medical history i can think of that would be pertinent to the lump in my neck. Just looking for a second opinion on whether I should be concerned about it being constantly swollen for well over a year. thanks in advance for any info you may have on the matter.
