Had Severe Chest Cold, Took Antibiotic For 7 Days At

had severe chest cold, took antibiotic for 7 days at the 3rd day of onset, as my doctor suggested, now at 14th day, bringing up muccous expectorant occasionally, it is clear, foamy bubbles in cluster ?...slight nose drip is present, on mend, but slow recovery. If normal ok..or does this indicate any concern ? My age 87- male
