Hi, I Believe I Have A Pilonidal Cyst, Pain Started

hi, i believe i have a pilonidal cyst, pain started at my tailbone last week, figured i had bruised it, over the past week it has turned to a lump about the size of a quarter.. tonight as i got out of the shower, i noticed a lymph node in my groin area was swollen, could the swollen lymph node be from the pilonidal cyst? im beginning to freak out now that a lymph node is swollen.. i have an appointment to see my doctor within the week. i just want to know if maybe the swollen gland in my groin is caused from the cyst.
