hi there-
i have a very sore tongue (more towards the back-sides) the sides are inflammed and bumpy, with white-ish squares. this is the 4th time i have had this summer. first, i thought it was from flavored toothpicks/chewing sticks, so i stopped using those, the next time i thought it was from alcohol or marijuana (i cut those out), by this time i went to the dentist, who had no idea what this was and referred me to oral surgeon, but it had gone away on it's own and so i didn't go to oral surgeon. it is also associated with an overwhelming feeling of exhaustion and low low energy. by this 4th time, my tongue started feeling sore but was not showing any whiteness yet, so i tried to nip it and went to ENT doctor, who used scope into nose and throat and didn't see anything alarming, and prescribed me with a lozenge for candida to be taken 5 times a day for 2 weeks. it is not helping and it is becoming more sore, whiteness is forming and i was choking on my coughs in the middle of the night. please help me figure this out. i am so uncomfortable and scared and don't know what to do...
