I Have An Increasing Need To Swallow And Clear My

i have an increasing need to swallow and clear my throat, its even causing shortness of breath, i went to the hospital a couple nights ago and they sent me home with anxiety, but i dont think thats it at all, i feel like theres increased mucus build up in my throat, what should i do?
