I Have Been Going To The Doctor A Lot Lately

i have been going to the doctor a lot lately and have different symptoms that seem to be separate, but I cant help to wonder if they are all actually related. My hemoglobin has been low, One thyroid level is high, while the other is normal. I get 2 menstral cycles a month that are very heavy, and now I was ordered to have a mammogram because one breast is sore, the pain is going to my back as well and there is a slight discharge from my nipple. Im only 33 years old and Ive read that mammograms are not the best way to go, that ultrasounds are more effective and they don't use radiation like mammograms do. How do I tell my dr. without offending him that I just want the ultrasound and not the mammogram?
