I Have Recently Stopped Paxil After Several Years. I Have

i have recently stopped paxil after several years. i have had many symptoms since, gastritis, drum sounds in my ears when i move my eyes, excess mucous, cough, eye distortions,unsteadiness and the beat goes on.
why would any doc prescribe paxil without making clear th hazards of quiting
