my dad is 45 years old. he is in icu for an ear infection that spread to his blood and brain. he has had 3 brain surgerys to remove his skull due to cerebral swelling and ischemic stroke. no his legs and hands are swollen and his liver and bilirubin levels are elevated what can these elevated levels mean
