My Husband Is & Has Been Type 1 Diabetic 42

my husband is & has been Type 1 Diabetic 42 years, & before the Lantus/Levemir time release insulin were prescribed at bedtime, the seizures in sleep mode were often. However, recently he experienced two seizures, one earlier right after taking his Levimer & one in afternoon, in between lunch & dinner. He takes Novolog with his meals. He is very good to monitor his Blood sugar levels & take snacks as needed. The recent seizure I had to call medical assistance, seemed out of control, could not get him back. He is 58, should he consider the pump for better control of levels?
