ok my mom is 80 years old a cardiac patient, diabetic,copd,arthrithic chf,...those are her daily ailments we have to manage,
we now find that she has pneumonia one lung filled on exray, she is on levaquin 750mg daily 1 tab per day..
her breathing is labored,her pain level is very high..
how do i know or how to make the decision to take her to emergency..she is already on oxygen 5..
they wanted to give her a predisone pak 4mg buy it wont arrive till tuesday..if i hv 5 mg predison in the house not her script its mine im her daughter..

she is having labored breathing when we move her but that is not a new symptom..
what dou suggest i do
