yes i had 3 supratz injections in April. I have had severe pain in that knee right after the 2nd one, but the doctor said to have the 3rd one, since it was a series of 3. I have gone back anf told him i have a rare feeling in that knee and moving down my leg and very painful . I asked if i could have some kind of infection in the knee, and he said it wasn't red or hot, and asked if i had a fever or chills. I said yes i have these deep chills, that come even if i have 3 layers of clothes on. I stopped going back to hime, because i think he thought there was nothing to it. I have since been hospitialized twice in the last 3 months with an infection in my colon. I was refered to a surgeon, who put me on stronger antibiotics, which i have been on antibiotics for over 2 months now, and when my blood was tested last week, while still on meds, i was 10.5 on a scale of 4- 10.9. i only have 2 more days of antibiotics, and i am afraid i will have to go back into the hospital. While i was on meds, i broke out in a rash, that nobody knows what it is. The pain in my knee lets up a little when i am on the antibiotics, but as soon as i'm off or inbetween doses i get terrible pain and a burning sensation. I have had apelvic hernia repair years ago, and wonder if on the ct scan that is what they saw, instead of diverticulitis, since i am a vegan/vegetarian and have never had any problem with my intestines before, and a colonoscopy was not done? I was feeling great at 68 years old, before i had that darn supratz injection. I had gastric-by-pass 12 years ago and have lost 150 lbs., but the absorption factor for meds is there and i understand that iv treatment might be better for me, however if the source of the infection isn't found i am afraid of it passing to my pacemaker or ivp filter. Do i have a legitimate concern? I am going to camm my pc physian tomorrow and hopefully he will listen to me, Thanks for listening, Kathy
