Thank you Dr C. However hydrocephalus is a criteria for surgery as the procedure is warranted as hydro is life threatening and also the surgical procedure to remove the cyst is safer because the hydro widens the ventricles allowing for better vision if the cyst/tumour/lesion and safer access.

Thanks for info. You were very helpful and I would have never went to a MD for something like this until it had gotten really bad (if it ever reached that point, but sounds from ur info that it will get worse if not treated) .
