Question:

i am getting slight blood in my phlegm and saliva like once kr twice a month. i dont really have cough although i have bleeding gums and 85 percent of times ive seen gum that are bleeding after i see blood.I have also got a habit of clearing phlegm more than usual. i am 17 years old male and have not ever had tobacco or cigerrate.The blood is never more than a tea spoon.i am in good health and just feel shortness of breath after i eat and lay down which gets fine few mins.However this blood really scares me and google says its a symptom of lung cancer i am really worried please help meee.

yes doc i appreciate your reply my gums do bleed alot due to hardened plaque alonside.There is no cough and fever and sometimes i forcibly cough to get phlegm out and see if there is blood but its not,when sometimes it comes in saliva i see uts gum bleeding,last 5-6 months ive only seen blood slight blood in phlegm not even more than one tea spoon two three time and 90 percent of that time i see after my gums are bleeding in one case which i havent probably the blood mightve been spit it out from gums.I tried holdinh breath for as long as i can to check my lungs and i go upto more than a minute without after coughing. But i am an over thinker i just get really stress and start googling all stuff and get really tense that its cancer.I play for hours and hours and doesnt get short of breath to add. just please clarify me that its not somethinh to worry about and if if if the blood has actually come from lungs bhi its been very minimal and veryy rare whereas in cancer ive heard its more frequent and in more quantity.So please just let me know there is nothing much to worry
