19 Years Old. Have Lack Of Facial Hair. What Treatment Should Be Done?
Question: I am 19....yet i lack facial hair
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
Please understand that in male as they reaches the age of about 14 years, they start developing male characteristics like:
Growth of facial hair
Axillary hair and pubic hair
Change of voice
Development of secondary sexual characters.
This all happens due to action of a hormone called testosterone. At times it is possible that due to some deficiency some of the features come late or do not develop.
If you other things as mentioned above properly developed except facial hair, then there is no need to worry.
In such case you should consult an endocrinologist, he will after proper examination will advice some more investigation and treatment as per need.
I hope this helps.
Wishing you good health.

Dr.Pragnesh

Hi,
Good to hear from you again.
I am sorry dear, you should not be taking any medication for sleep.
Anxiety might be the reason for getting adequate sleep.
Please try following which should help.
>Try relaxation techniques like yoga,medication
>Have light diet in evening, avoid spicy food
>Avoid tea/coffee in late evening
>Have a glass of warm milk before you go to bed.
>Avoid watching TV before going to bed.
>Try to read something while in bed.
