Question: 1st - I have severe anxiety And fear a heart attack. I went to the ER because I was having chest pain & tightness for the past three days and felt like I was Spaced out and when I went they did an EKG and the first EKG said abnormal but when they read it they said it wasn’t anything to worry about It was abnormal with nonspecific ST abnormality. They took blood all the blood work came back good the troponin was like .0015 is that considered negative? They did an EKG right before I left and it came back normal, but said normal compared to ecg performed earlier, so is it really normal? Does this sound like a heart problem I should worry about?

Are there ST T changes in both or just the one? Should i see a cardiologist or is this truly not a problem? Ive also attached an older EKG for comparison that says normal.

Detailed Answer:
It’s there in all the ecg’s even in your older ecg also. So it’s a normal pattern for you.

If there is no family history of coronary artery disease or you don’t smoke then there is nothing to worry but if any of these factors are there then it’s advisable that you should get an echocardiogram and TMT test done.

Hope to have been helpful.

Then stop worrying. The possibility of having a heart issue in your case is very minimal.

Just start doing meditation as that will help you or else you need to seek the help of a psychologist to combat your anxiety.
