Do not give any medications or foods other than breast milk.Increase the frequency of the breast feeds.
Keep the baby warm, wrap her well with warm clothes.If possible with warmer close by.
Always keep the baby in open space to avoid suffocation.

Steam inhalations is the best and safe option.You can give in home on your own at
least twice daily.Do not mix anything in the water while giving the steam.
Do not apply vaporubs like Vicks or balms.

Babies with viral infections are prone to get secondary bacterial infections.Hence,try to keep the baby in clean environments as much as possible and wash the clothes with water mixed with antiseptic solutions.
