Hi,
Welcome to HCM!
First let me know what milk he is on?
When there is breast milk the stools will be passed easily, and semi soft.
But bottle milk always causes constipation.
Also the main cause of constipation is inadequate milk.
So let me know how often and how much milk you are giving?
Waiting for your answer!

Hi,
Yes it is correct .It is called demand feeding.!
Is the milk enough?
There is a medicine called Lactulose syrup.
It can be given 1 tsp when necessary.
But beware do not use it regularly.
It becomes a habit!
Instead you can use paediatric glycerine or dulcolax suppositoy to be inserted into the rectum.
The suppository is actually safer.
All the best
God bless
