22yrs, White Female. 130lbs. Had Severe Dizziness In May, Severe
Question: 22yrs, white female. 130lbs. had severe dizziness in may, severe headaches in july/august. i had a head ct without contrast done in august that came
back clear with no other testing done. i was given steroids and my headache went away quickly. about a week ago, my dizziness returned and the headache came back, as well. saw ent who scheduled balance/vestibular testing and subsequent mri on 1/21. is a tumor possible? could my first ct have possibly missed something? would tumor symptoms completely disappear and come back intermittently, months apart? want some reassurance before testing.

Probably migraine, follow the advice below
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
In my opinion, if it was a tumor it would probably be detected through the CT.
In my opinion, it can be migraine.
A migraine can cause dizziness and headache which can be repeated as symptoms in time.
I recommend to try anti inflammatory medications such as Tylenol in case of headaches.
If the symptoms do not go away, I recommend to consult a neurologist for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards!
