Brief Answer:
It can be an acid reflux
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
The symptoms are typical of acid reflux or gastritis. As a first line management you can take over the counter available antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. Avoid spicy foods and sleep in a position where your head end is slightly elevated to prevent reflux.
The ridges on the nails are unrelated and can be a part of age aging process or vitamin deficiency.
If symptoms persists you might require an endoscopy.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks

From one month I don't have vomiting and burping..I only have shortness of breath and feeling very mild pain sometimes under ribs and around shoulder blade. Is this anything related with lungs?
Brief Answer:
Unlikely related to lungs.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Acid reflux can cause chest pain and mimic lung diseases.
It is unlikely related to the lungs.
You can continue antacid for symptomatic relief.
However, you can go for an X-ray and ECG as a part of the preliminary investigation.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks

Is this related to Asthama...As I am having constant shortness of breath and a phlegm bit no cough
Brief Answer:
Asthma is unlikely.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Asthma is unlikely.
If it is asthma, you must be having a strong family history and recurrent attacks from childhood. Most importantly asthma is aggravated by dust.
Severe acid reflux can cause similar symptoms and I suggest you to get an endoscopy done.
Thanks
