Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms ( flushing in your upper chest after eating or showering) could be related to an allergy reaction.

I don't think that these symptoms are related to the vertebral artery dissection or the stroke.

The dizziness and headaches, could be related to the stroke. But, I would recommend consulting with an ophtalmologist for a physical exam and examine your eyes.

The troubles with concentration could be related to the accumulated stress.

Anyway, your symptoms are not indicative of any serious medical disorder.

So, try to relax and don't worry too much about it.

I would just recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure values during those episodes of flashing and headaches, in order to exclude possible blood pressure fluctuations.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
