
58 Yr Old Female Total Cholesterol 241, Ldl 130, Hld

Question: 58 yr old female
Total Cholesterol 241, ldl 130, Hld 47, triglycerides 85, Lld P 1329, ldl c 140.
C- reactive protein, cardiac 1.33
Zero on Cardiac Calcium Ct scan.
Cholesterol high since early 20’s. Been on Pravastatin 3 years 20 mg.
Former smoker on and off for decades. Last cig last XXXXXXX
Since Feb have lost 27 lbs, walk 5-7 miles
a day and go to prob 4-6 exercise classes a week, alternating yoga, interval training, Pilates and soul cycle . Very oddly my cholesterol has increased by 20 in this time frame. Discouraging. Any thoughts?
