Brief Answer:
It looks like a normal variation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached image and X-ray. The X-ray is normal. The small bony prominence can be a normal variation. This can be the prominent outer end of the clavicle bone.
There is nothing to worry about. This is likely to be a normal variation. A direct examination by a doctor can confirm this further.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.

Thank you Dr XXXXXXX Tayal,
It was just strange that it has appeared pretty suddenly.
The doctor said it could be numerous things like cyst/bone cancer etc.
Am/was just really worried.
Thank you

Thank you
Thank you
Brief Answer:
FNAC will help in confirmation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The bump is not a bony swelling or anything related to cancer. This is more likely a soft tissue swelling. This can be a sebaceous cyst. You can get an FNAC done to confirm this.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Thank you for the reply.
Thank you for some reassurance that nothing is standing out to be cancer. Was just really worried.
So soft tissue swelling can make it feel hard like bone? She has similar on her left side but not a visual protrusion like we have talked about.
Any other thoughts or just the bone variation.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Not related to cancer.
Detailed Answer:
Nothing to worry. This does not seem to be a serious issue. Still get an FNAC done and rest your mind.
