k/c/o Hypertension since 5 yrs on amlodepin 5mg ,
BPH - tablet Urimax since 1 year.
USG (Abd+pelvis ) Dt. 01/04/2019
S/O Mild prostatomegaly.
- Mild generalized urinary bladder wall thickening is noted.
- Pre void urinary bladder volume : 277 cc. Post void urinary bladder volume : 50 cc.
Total PSA - 0.35ng/ml ( WNL)
Requesting for your valuable opinion Whther any surgical indication is there ?

Hi,
PSA value is within normal limits. And scan revealed mild BPH with borderline significant post void residue (post void urinary bladder volume of 50 cc). It can be managed conservatively. In my opinion surgery is not absolutely necessary.
