Brief Answer:
Increase in stress hormones

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but excessive exercise can lead to increase in the levels of stress hormones as cortisol and adrenaline in your blood which can lead to insomnia.. However, I would recommend that you get a blood test for thyroid hormonal profile including T3,T4 and TSH to exclude hyperthyroidism as a cause of your insomnia.. I hope you find this helpful..
