Hello,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.

The fact remains that you consume something before recording the second sugar- even if it is skimmed milk.
Blood sugar is a balance between input (food) and output (exercise and medications).
So the sugars are bound to be rising if you have eaten something without exercise or medications.

There are approximately 73 calories in 200 ml of Milk (Fat Free or Skim, Calcium Fortified). Calorie breakdown: 5% fat, 56% carbs, 39% protein. (source: https://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/usda/milk-(fat-free-or-skim-calcium-fortified)?portionid=0000&portionamount=200.000).
As you can see- there are 56% carbohydrates there. Which would increase the blood sugars. That can surely raise the blood sugars by 50 points assuming you are not adding any sugar to the milk.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Feel free to contact me if you need any further details.
Best of luck.

Thank you for your reply doctor, but doctor this was not happening like this just before 2 months, due to my before breakfast readings going high, my ppbs is also going high, I get up at 5am everyday, I will be having continuous work, I get tired if I don't have anything, what can I have doctor? Is there any solution for this? Will this affect my Hba1c?

Hello .
Thanks for your response.
I would like to know the blood sugar levels before the intake of milk.

To answer your questions

1. diabetes is not a static disease. Its a progressive disease. So it's not necessary that a new trend would not develop.

2. I also think that you may be developing lower sugars when you wake up and start working. Once the sugars become low the body tries to raise the sugars. And when you take food thereafter it moves up further.

3. It's less likely to increase the HbA1c since the overall control is good. However if the sugars go too high this may get raised.

I would recommend taking something after getting up and while working to avoid the feeling of fatigue in the first place.

Hello.
Thanks for the response.
This confirms what I said before.
You see the rise of sugars after having the milk is not too high.
It's already on the rise due to the stress of possible low sugars that develop after you wake and work.
So , like before, I would suggest you have something after waking up and then doing your work.
It may be useful to take the glass of skimmed milk before starting work.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible and I hope that this information is helpful.
Best wishes.
