Hey thanks for the question dear Chronic iridocyclitis is secondary to some systemic disease usually and most common in XXXXXXX is Tuberculosis and the patient should be tested for the same by a quantiferon TB Gold test . The treatment is in the form of steroids sir either orally , topically or via injection and they have been rightly prescribed to you . Long term complications are catarct and glaucoma but if you keep a regular follow up its a controllable disease and it can have relapses which with proper medication can be treated .
