Brief Answer:
Hello dear. GGT is raised due to fatty liver

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. i understand your concern. I have gone through the reports. Your reports are suggestive of fatty liver (ultrasound) as reflected by increased echogenecity of liver parenchyma. This fatty liver can give rise to raised GGT levels. Fatty liver is usually seen in indivuduals who are obese. Other causes of raised GGT levels are alcohol intake and sometimes viral infections.
Prognosis is good if obesity is controlled or person quits alcohol
Hope you understand.
