A Disclaimer That I'm A Hypochondriac, But I'm Concerned About

Question: A disclaimer that I'm a hypochondriac, but I'm concerned about what appears to be a hard, movable, and not tender lymph node deep in my neck. I've noticed it, as well as strange pulsing/throbbing sensations in my uvula and an off again/on again burning sensation in my throat for the past couple of weeks. Family members had trouble finding it initially. How concerned should I be about it being cancer?

Brief Answer:
Cancer is unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Many people have lymph nodes in the neck which are of no clinical significance and non cancerous.
However if there is a new lymph node which persists for linger duration, and hard in consistency, it must be evaluated.
You can go for a fine needle biopsy to make a diagnosis.
However the odds of cancer is unlikely because you are too young to have a lymph node metastasis and you must have symptoms consistent with cancer.
The sensation in the throat doesn’t seems like significant either.
Thanks
