A Few Days Ago, I Noticed A Small Bump In

default
Posted on Thu, 24 Sep 2020
Question: A few days ago, I noticed a small bump in my belly button that feels rough. I'm not sure if it's a scab or something else. I will link a few pictures at the bottom. Can you tell what this is? I spend some time in the woods. I don't think it's evidence of a tick bite but can you let me know what you think? I did not see a tick. It does not hurt, itch, or bother me. Thank you for your help.

Brief Answer:
cleanse with soap and warm water!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I have reviewed the link to the above 3 images. This is suggestive of a minor skin infection. It does not require antibiotics. Cleansing twice daily with warm water and soap would prevent any further spread and help accelerate the healing process.

I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me as you please.
