A Few Weeks Ago, I Was Diagnosed With Balanitis And

Question: A few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with balanitis and given some oral as well as topical medication. The discharge of fluid stopped very quickly but regular cleaning seems to have made my glans quite dry and sometimes there is a very slight irritation or burning sensation. Is this normal?
