Question: A lady age 79 had a 'carpel tunnel' operation a few months ago , due to pain and high cholesterol levels-I do not know the figures. She had a 'mild stroke' shortly before this However, over the last week, she has been having severe cramps in the knee and the area between the upper forearm and lower bicep in the right arm. And at the same time her right hand was shaking and she was having an attack of vertigo. 1)Please can you advise, what this could be 2)What solutions would you recommend for her be in better health and for relevant parts of the body causing all of these symptoms to function more effectively.
She is on cholesterol and blood pressure medication and also has osteo porosis. I will not contact again and am not a millionaire and am sure you know life is more important. God bless Om Namah Shivaya

Brief Answer:
As explained below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

I have gone through the details and understand your concerns. The symptoms you have described points to another mild stroke attack. I need more details such as how is she now? is she able to talk and eat normally?

Her knee cramp can be due to osteoarthritis also.

I would like you to upload some reports and medicines she is on if possible so that I can get a full picture.

Solutions I would recommend for her would be to continue her cholesterol and BP medicine. She should also be on Aspirin to avoid further stroke and heart attack chances. Maintain a good diet and if she is XXXXXXX then slow walking for 20 mins will do.

I hope this answered your query. Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you Dr XXXXXXX
like most medical centres/surgeries have
specialist consultants, what kind of specialist
would you suggest that she sees ?
As the Dr that saw her, suggested she see a 'Neurologist'
