
Abdominal Pain After Blunt Force Trauma, Taken Aleve. What Should I Look For?

Question: my husband has severe abdominal pain 24 hr after a blunt force truma to his lower abdomin . A comercial self propeled walk (at almost a running pace) behind lawn mower handle he hit a stump going pretty fast and started with severe pain the next morning .he wont go to a doctor unless it still hurt him on monday what should i look for ?

Classical practice in such cases is to go emergency as pain is severe and any thing is possible for cause of pain: minor muscle injury to damage to XXXXXXX organ.
Mean time monitor following things (But Visit emergency as soon as possible):
- Record pulse (normal range 60-100 per minute) every half hourly
- Blood in urine or faeces
- Difficulty in passing urine
- Disturbance in consciousness
- Feeling of giddiness or fainting
If there is problem in any parameters--- visit or call ER even without his consent.
