Dear XXXXXXX

Thanks for contacting Healthcare Magic.

You seem to have multiple problems.

1. Fatty Liver arises due to many causes. Commonest are alcohol, obesity, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia. You should stop alcohol if you consume it. If you are a diabetic then it needs to be controlled. If you are obese then you should reduce your weight by controlling your diet and exercising. Best way to control diet is to reduce fat and sugar intake in diet. You can assess if you are obese or not by knowing your weight and height. BMI is calculated by a formula weight in kg divided by Height in meters squared. If your BMI is above 25 then you are overweight and if it is more than 30- then you are obese. You should strive to keep it below 25. Your cholesterol and triglycerides are high these also need to be controlled.

2. Acidity is usually caused by reflux. Again overweight or obese status aggravates this problem. So weight reduction will help.I can see that you are already taking right medicines in form of Razo D and Razo for this. You should also avoid fatty, spicy, sour food, tea, coffee, smoking, carbonated drinks to reduce the symptoms and reduce the requirement of drugs to control acidity. Also try not to overeat, avoid putting tight clothes.

3. Your cholesterol and triglycerides are high. You should get your thyroid status checked. Sometimes hypothyroid status can cause elevation of these. If your thyroid status is normal and levels of cholesterol and triglycerides are still high then your physician can prescribe drugs to reduce these. General measures like exercising, reducing weight, reducing fat and sugar intake in diet will also help in controlling these.

4. Blood sugar fasting is also on higher side. You need a PP blood sugar and all other general advise remain same as for cholesterol. If PP sugar is also high then your physician needs to prescribe some medication for reducing sugars too.

5. Regarding pain in lower abdomen, This can be due to urinary tract problem or problem of colon. Please tell if your pain associated with burning urine or constipation or diarrhea. Also get an ultrasound of the abdomen done. You need to tell more about your lower abdominal pain before I can comment more on it.

Hope my suggestions help you.

Best wishes,

Dr Dinesh Singal
