Brief Answer:
Gastroenteritis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic,

The symptoms you are describing are mostly suggestive of Gastroenteritis which is the Bacterial/Viral infection of the intestine.

Stool analysis and culture are required to confirm the diagnosis. Management is with antibiotics (usually a combination of Ciprofloxacin and Metronidazole) for which you will need a prescription. So please be advised to follow up with the urgent care.

Meanwhile, drink plenty of water and electrolyte containing drinks like Gatorade. Follow soft diet. BRAT (Banana, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast) diet will be easier on your tummy.

Hope this answers your query

Follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
As a clinician we start with common things first. You have not mentioned the duration of your problem and whether any treatment has been tried previously or not.
If you would have said that baseline tests like stool etc are normal and have tried course of medication and the problem is repeating again and again I would have said that it can be inflamatory bowel disease but before ruling out common cause one can't say land into higher diagnosis.
However for screening inflammatory bowel disease Fecal calprotectin test can be done at your nearest lab.

Brief Answer:
Follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
With just a history of 4 days I would suggest.
1)VSL#3 twice daily(probiotic)
2)Lactulose syrup 10 ml (laxative)
3)Prizolec 40 mg once daily.
Take for 3 days and revert back.
Eat light food.
Thanks!
