Absence Of Periods Since Eight Years, Sudden Bleeding Since A Week. Is Anything Abnormal?
Question: i am 56yrs .have'nt had a period for 8yrs.i now having a show.for about a week.should i be worried.

There are so many causes of vaginal bleeding/discharge at your age.
As you have'nt had a menstrual period for 8 years, but having a show for a week, it does not seem to be due to menstrual period.
Thus it requires examination, investigations like Pap smear and trancevaginal ultrasound & evaluation and treatment accordingly by a Gynecologist.
