Hello!

Welcome on - Ask a Doctor- service!

Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that no contraindications to sauce or salt of any kind exist in the settings of a heart attack or coronary stents implantation.

An important issue to follow is a healthy balanced diet with no excess of fatty food especially like fried and spicy ones.

If hypertension or heart failure is present than a balanced salt intake should be the rule (no excessive salt, no above 4-5 gram/day).

Hope to have been helpful to you!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
