Question: After having sex with a women, I wake up(5 hours later) with a complete loss appetite that still lasts for 3 weeks, with an acute sinusitis, white tongue that burns during the night and when I eat sweets I spill it up because I can t eat sweet. During 1 week I lost my taste and smell partially, I estimate 50% loss. My tongue has cracks, it s white, as mentioned burns, like I have cotton inside my mouth. My whole mouth is dry, and also my lips burn by time to time. I think that infection soon will go to my neck.

Hii. It seems that you are having allergic rhinosinusitis and coated tongue. After any activity which causes sympathetic stimulation of the hormones there may be congestion of the nasal and sinus mucous membrane. For that reason you are having allergic rhinitis. So you need to start some fluticasone or saline nasal spray. It will decrease the inflammation and reduce the congestion. Saline nasal spray will reduce the allergic secretion in the nose and will it properly. Take steam inhalation.It will help in moistening the nose and will help to retain the normal function of the cilia of the nose. Rhinitis will slowly resolve with these measures. If you are having whitish coated tongue then you have to maintain proper oral hygiene. It may be due to candidiasis or due to acid reflux. You can take candid mouth paint. To maintain proper hygiene take betadine gargle. Drink more water. Start some antacid to reduce the acid reflux. It will resolve over time with healthy lifestyle. You can do hexidine gargle. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Please review if you have any queries.

I just had a CT scan, it seems I have a left maxillary inflamatory sinusitis that might bleed. The sex experience was quite unpleaseant, it was quite smelly in the room and the lady, so I don t think I had some hormone involved. After I wake up, i smelled blood everywhere and for few days my room smelled like sick, like medication. Might be a sign of STD as well?

My tongue burns very bad, I woke up in the middle of night with hell burn of tongue, also my taste and smell is altered and i have lack of appetite. This is happening for 3 weeks by now. I uploaded the pictures of my tongue. Please let me know it something is wrong. I see I have red small dots everywhere.
